HUNTING

We are located in Southeast Iowa, in Van Buren County. We also provide hunting in Northeast Missouri. The heart of BIG Whitetail Country. This area is well known for it's large typical and non-typical whitetail bucks. We own and lease over 3,000 acres of prime hunting property and accumulate more as needed to be sure that our ground will never be over hunted. Our property consists of the Fox River creek beds, thick timber, corn and bean crops and fields, and we provide many types of nutrition in our food plots to ensure growth, and good genetics.
 
We have a size restriction in our camp of 135" and we also limit the number of hunters that we have through our camp each year. This is to assure we produce large bucks for future years to come, and that our young bucks continue to produce their genetics. We typically see a large number of 140's-150's and several even larger.

We use Cuddyback trail cameras to keep track of how our bucks are growing and also monitor their feeding habits. We plant a variety of Biologic, Ladino Clover, Chickory, Alfalfa, and turnips in our food plots to produce the maximum nutrition possible to grow these large bucks. We have seen these bucks grow on average of 12-20" each year.

Dean spends a tremendous amount of time throughout the year on food plots, maintaining trails, shed hunting, checking trail cameras, and preparing for the hunting season. We provide only the best quality tree stands, including Summit and Rivers Edge laddar and hang on stands.
We a allow you to bring your climbers if you wish, and we do have a few extras on hand. We also provide insulated and well built ground blinds that have come to be known as "the condos" for those of you who prefer to stay closer to the ground.
